Mixing the different designs in the Master Slide within a presen

I have a slide pack template which has three master slides. When I create a new slide in the standard presentation (not a master slide) it will only let me create a slide based on only one of the three master slides. I would like to use a mix of all my master slides in the slide pack. When I right click on the slide that I want to change the template design for and selected "Slide Design" and then choose the slide design I want, it changes all the slides in my slide pack. I only want it to change for the slide I'm selecting.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could help.

Many thanks!

Debra

RE: Mixing the different designs in the Master Slide within a pr

Hello Debra

Thank you for your question.

Are all the master slides preserved in Slide Master view? If they are, then all designs should be available for you to use in the presentation.

To check, go into Slide Master view and see if each slide master has a little pin symbol next to it - if not, right-click on the masters without the pin symbol and select Preserve Master.

Then when you are applying the designs in the presentation, there should be the option to select 'Apply to selected slides' from the dropdown arrow that appears when you hold your mouse over the design.

Kind regards
Amanda

Powerpoint tip:

Hide toolbar and arrow pointer in slide show view

When viewing a presentation in slideshow view, the slideshow toolbar and arrow pointer can be seen on your slides.

To hide these temporarily from your audience's view, you can press 'A' or '=' on the keyboard. Pressing one of these keys again will make the toolbar and arrow pointer reappear.
