Hi Emma,

I'm not sure exactly what you're after. An example of what you're trying to do would be useful.

If you're talking about wrapping the text in a cell, right click the cell -> Format Cells... -> Alignment tab -> tick Wrap Text checkbox.

If you're talking about using functions to split up text in a cell, have a look at this article on microsoft's web site which details functions on splitting up text and distributing the chunks into cells of their own.

You can also use Excel's Text to Columns facility. Select the column and choose Data -> Text To Columns... and then follow the wizard.

I'd recommend you always save or backup your file before making such changes.
