I there a quick check for identifying errors in text etc on the excel workbooks, without having to scrutinise each row and column?

Hi Tim
If by identifying errors you mean checking for spelling errors then all you need to do is:
1. Select the Tools menu
2. Click Spelling
If on the other hand you have formulas that are showing errors then:
1. Select Tools
2. Click Error Checking.
This allows you to see how the error came about, the values involved in the formula and so, fix the formula.
