Hi DeeThank you for your question. Yes you can. First create a project to store your resource information. Ideally it will have no tasks, just resources.
Then open your project that needs the resource and from the Tools > Resource Sharing > Share Resources
Set it to use resources from the resource pool file you created.
Your resource is then connected to the pool.

How do i do this? i remember doing this years ago. almost like a 3d flying application?
