At the moment I am attempting to print a Gantt chart that lasts over 4 months, when formatting to print the gantt takes up about 1/5 of the width of the page - as to be able to see the whole project you have to zoom out. I want to be able to print the chart using as much of the space of the A4 paper as possible, and to be able to see the tasks bars and info more clearly (no more than on page) is the feasible?

Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately I cannot see a reasonable way of achieving this in MS Project.
The only suggestion I have is to apply filters and select certain date ranges and then print the gantt chart for those dates.
Then you will have a printed version of the Gantt bars easier to read as it will show more detail.
