What does the priority in the Task Info \ General mean?

Hi Richard

Priority is used to give weighting to tasks as part of the leveling process (Tools > Level resources). Tasks with higher priorites (up to 1000) are not delayed whereas lower priority tasks are pushed back to deal with overallocation of resources.
