Outlook Advanced

In the calendar, when categorising appointments, is there a way of exporting information onto a pie chart which demonstrates how much time is spent in each category?

RE: Outlook Advanced

Hi Ellie,

Thank you for your question. One way to achieve this may be to switch to your calendar view to events (View > Arrange by > Current view > Events).

This view includes the Duration and Categories fields. Select an event and use Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+c to select all and copy all the event information in your calendar.

Paste the contents into an excel spreadsheet and you can then use subtotals to add a subtotal for the total duration for each category.

Select the main two headings categories and duration, hold the CTRL key down and select the Subtotal headings and Subtotals and press F11 to chart.

I hope this helps - do let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Simon
