Karen has attended:
Excel Advanced course

Countif function

Is there a way you can do a countif function with 2 criteria?

I have used a sumif array formula using the conditional sum wizard but I know need to do a countif with the same criteria.

Thanks

RE: Countif function

Hello Karen

Thank you for your question.

You could use either of the database functions DCOUNT or DCOUNTA, which should have been covered on the Excel Advanced course you attended with us.

Alternatively when you filter a database, you will see in the status bar at the bottom left of the screen, Excel will tell you the number of records in the database that match your filtering criteria.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Amanda
