Hi Susan, thanks for the query. That all depends on how sophisticated you want your reports. For simply reports the report wizard will lift the fields out of your source table and simply publish them straight to the report in one of the Access templates. If you want to customise the layout of the reports, you need to build it in Design View. Rule of thumb is to create a simply report using the wizard then modify it through the Design View - it can be very fiddly designing a form from scratch in Design View.

You can create percentage values based on individual products / items by using a Dsum function (used with a grouped query)

[Each value column] / Dsum[field:total for the column needed to be calculated],[tablename]
