Hi JimThank you for your question. The built in views in Project include the Tracking Gantt view (View > Tracking Gantt) and this view shows current baseline with the live plan (which incorporates the critical path) overlayed above it.
MS Project calculates the critical path on the live project information rather than the baseline values. To keep a historical copy of the critical path along with the baseline you may want to save an archive copy of the plan that can be referred to once the main plan is updated.
