Replacing data

Hi,
In my database, I need to replace a huge amount of data in one field. I wonder if there is a quicker way to replace them all, e.g. using a query?

Thanks. Looking forward to your reply.

Regards,

Xing

RE: replacing data

Hi Xing

Thanks for your question

The quickest method would be to use an update query which can be used to replace specified data within a given recordset.

Can you clarify the following for me so I can be more precise

1. Does the new data exist in some electronic form (database or
spreadsheet)
2. Is the data to be replaced in 1 or multiple tables

Thanks

Stephen
