I have set up my project to use the night shift calendar but the gant chart does not show the work spreading across part of monday and into tuesday. how do I fix this?

Hi Stephen,

Thank you for your question.

If you go to Format and then Timescale. If you need to, choose to display three tiers. Assign Days to the top tier, Hours to the Middle tier and the bottom tier to Minutes changing the count to 30.

This should then show you the start of the task beginning on the previous day running into the next morning.

Create own ribbon tab - Project 2010

a. In Project click on the File tab
b. Select Options from left hand side
c. Choose the Customize Ribbon section
d. Click the New Tab button (below the list of tabs on the right hand side of the dialog box)
e. Select the New Tab (Custom) and enter a name, by clicking the Rename button (below the list of tabs on the right hand side of the dialog box)
f. Select the New Group (Custom) and enter a name, by clicking the Rename button (below the list of tabs on the right hand side of the dialog box)
g. Add commands to your tab and group by locating them on the list on the right hand side (remembering that you can change the list using the drop down box at the top of the list of commands) and clicking the Add button between the two panes to add them to your tab and group
h. You can rearrange the commands in your group, the groups on any tab or the tabs, using the up and down arrow buttons beside the list of tabs.
i. Click OK to apply your changes

forum postI have a csv file exported into excel and it has produced a number value as a date (180110) and trying to get this to show as 18/01/10 but cant as it changes it to 13/02/2393. How do i get this to show?

Also there is a 0 missing off dates such as 01/0..
