Further to your post I wanted to clarify what SPSS17(IBM?) is?

I am assuming it is a relational database and you wish to link to Access? If so we can most likely assist in a consultative fashion by reviewing your requirements in more detail and producing a scope of work containing durations/costs.

Remove spaces in a table

If you have a table that has too many space marks littered around, you can create a update query and use the trim function to get rid of any excess space marks
