Books for 2007

What is a good book I can get about Access 2007 which will allow me to work through exercises so that I can build my knowledge and understanding of Access.

I am quite new to access so a book which is simple and easy to understand would be great. My main objective is to become good at doing all queries and building tables. It would be great if I can learn about the different functions available

Many thanks

RE: Books for 2007

Hi Daleep,

Thank you for your question.

Some friends I know have bought the following book which is available on Amazon and said they enjoyed it:

Microsoft Step by Step, Access 2007

Here is the link to the book on Amazon so you can read the review on this book and look at other books:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Office-Access-2007-Package/dp/0735623031/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259686669&sr=8-7

I hope this helps.

Regards

Simon

Access tip:

Space marks

It is good practice not i to have space marks for field names as this can lead to problems when using queries or VBA code. It is much better to use an underscore charcter to represent spaces in field names
