Populating MSP from MSWord

I am copying information from Word and pasting into Project, but if it has bullet points, the bullet points show with no text and on seperate lines. This also happens if there is a return between items of text. They appear on seperate lines.

Is this the norm? Does this happen if I were to convert my documents to Excel?

PS. Andrew - Great course instruction and a great group of attendees.

Thanks!

RE: Populating MSP from MSWord

Hi Dennis

Thank you for your question and your feedback.

If you can try and remove the bullets first you will find it works better. Page breaks will tell Project (and Excel) that the data should be split between across two rows rather than one. If you can simplify the data first you will find the process easier. Pasting into Excel will give you an idea of how Project will deal with your data.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards and best wishes for the Season,

Andrew
