RE: Unhide columns

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your question.

Let us say that we inserted the Text2 field and renamed it as Cost Code and then hid it.

To retrieve and display the information stored in the Cost Code field you need to insert the original field Text2 and rename it again.

I hope this answers your question.

Let me know if it works.

Regards

Simon

RE: Unhide columns

Thank you Simon for the response.
The insert original field works fine if you know which field was used. The issue I have is that other people are accessing the file and have created coulmns which I have no idea of the original field name - any ideas?

Regards
Paul

RE: Unhide columns

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your response.

The only place I suggest you try is Tools, Customise fields and see if the renamed fields appear in there.

Unfortunately I cannot find any screen that shows me the original field name and what is has been renamed to.

If I do find anything I will contact you again.

Regards

Simon
