Entering phone numbers into a cell
Is there a quick way to simply enter a phone number in the format of +44 20 ..., without having to manually enter and apostrpophe (') before each number, or when a copied number is moderated?For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

Hi SarahThank you for your question. You could apply a text number format to the whole column used to store the numbers. To do this right click on the column letter and choose Format cells. On the number tab choose the Text category and click OK. Now try adding a phone number in that column and you should find Excel no longer re-formats the values.
