Numbering

When I'm using numbering instead of bullets and for example I am doing this.....

1. xxxxx
2. yyyyy
- zzzzz
- aaaa

When I go to continue numbering 3, 4 etc... I have to go into the bullets and numbering section and state to start numbering at 3. Is there a quicker way of doing this?
Thanks

RE: numbering

Hi Aleisha, thanks for your query. You are doing the right thing but the reason you have to do it is because of the way the numbering styles are set up. If you have styles set up as say, List Level 1, Level 2 etc, try just reapplying the Level 1 style when you need it by bringing up the Styles panel and selecting it from there. Alternatively, the Format Painter might be of some use but that depends a lot on how the numbering was originally set up.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Powerpoint tip:

Removing custom dictionary entries

If you add something to the custom dictionary in powerpoint you cannot remove it. The way to get around this is to go into word and remove it there.
