I read a few reviews about the following and it seems really good:

Access 2007: The Missing Manual
By Matthew MacDonald Publisher: O'Reilly Media / Pogue Press Released: December 2006

Maybe search for it on Amazon or another site and see if you can get any deals.

You can create percentage values based on individual products / items by using a Dsum function (used with a grouped query)

[Each value column] / Dsum[field:total for the column needed to be calculated],[tablename]
