This is probably a really stupid question, but I want to set up a database of people, their contact details, car reg, children, which committees they're on and which groups they're in. What is the best way to link all these tables - would an auto number be the best plan? Or something else?

Thank you for your recent post. Database design and structure needs to be carefully considered and we wouldn't be able to give you a well informed response at this stage.
We do assist clients with similar requests by reviewing their databases or if at an earlier stage helping to create the structure of the database to fit the design parameters.
This type of work due to it's nature falls beyond the scope of the forum and is more consultative. If you would like to know more on how we can assist please let me know.
