MS Project
Hi
Why does my duration suddenly have decimals? (eg 24.66 days)
For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability
RE: MS Project
Hi Joyce
Thank you for your question. There are a number of possible causes:
Most frequent is when tasks have been entered based on 8 hour working days (Tools > Options > Calendar) and the calendar has been modified to reflect a different set of hours (Tools > Change working times). The mismatch leaves decimal fractions of days appearing on the chart.
It can also happen if tasks are progressed using hourly intervals of work (rather than duration).
Or when a constraint is set to a time part way through a day
Would any of these be possible causes in your plan? Let me know what you find.
Kind regards,
Andrew
RE: MS Project
Thank you Andrew.
Will check if any of the options resolve my problem and get back to you if they don't.
