Display error in report derived from a query

Hello,

I have a query that is set-up to display information from three tables:
1. cases (fields include short text strings for names, as well as some dates)
2. personal (most data is stored in the True/False format)
3. attributes (most data is stored in the True/False format, although some fields include short text strings for names, as well as some dates).
When I run the report, the information is diplayed accurately in the Design View, and information saved in the True/False formats is displayed as 0 or -1 respectively.

I've created a report based soley on the query displayed above. Information from the attributes table is meant to be displayed using a series of Check Boxes.

The information selected to be displayed from the cases and personal tables is displayed accurately for all records in the report. However, there are several instance where the information selected from the attributes table isn't displayed at all, or is incorrectly displayed for some records.

How can I resolve this?

RE: Display error in report derived from a query

Hi Pasquale

Okay to be able to judge effectively if we can assist we will need to see a working copy of the database.

This does take us outside the scope of this forum but will give us a chance to let you know if we can find a solution.

If you are happy to do this please reply to my email and we will then get back to you. If a solution is available we will define the scope of work, delivery time and associated costs for you to review.

Kind regards

Jacob

Access tip:

Copy a Previous Record's Values to a New Record

If you often enter the same value in one field of a table, there are two methods to save re-typing the data.

1. Use Ctrl+' (apostrophe) to repeat the value input in the previous record.

2. Change the field's DefaultValue property in Design View to the most commonly used value.
