I seem unable to find the option for continuing previous number bullets after introducing an sub-bullet like a dash, for instance...

Thank you for your question.

Try right clicking on the bullet which you would like to continue the previous numbering. From the context menu that appears choose "continue numbering"

Fine Tuning for AutoShapes

The Windows drawing tools are generally labelled lines, rectangles, oval, etc. Similarly in the Office Suite.

To regulate any shape, straight line, square, circle, stars, smiley faces, etc ... hold down the Shift key while you draw the shape. Remember to release the mouse button before releasing the Shift key.
