How do i format A1in a column to become A01.
what i normally do is add the 0 manually.

Hi Sylvia

Thank you for your question. In this case you could right click the cell in question, choose Format cells then from the number categories choose Custom.

In the Type entry cell replace the contents with A00 (A zero zero)
Now when you type a single digit in the cell Excel will add A0 before your entry.

You can then use format painter to copy the format to other cells.

DATEDIF function

The DATEDIF function is a worksheet function that computes the difference between two dates. This function is documented only in the help files for Excel 2000. It isn't documented in Excel 2002.
the formula function is:
=DATEDIF(Your age,Today(),"Y")
Y stands for year
