Virginia has attended:
Excel Advanced course

Custom Sort Multiple Tabs

Can you custom sort multiple tabs at the same time. If you group tabs it wont let you enter the custom sort parameters, is there anyother way of doing it?

RE: Custom Sort Multiple Tabs

Hi Virginia,

Thank you for your question.

As far as I am aware, there is no way of doing this using the front end of Excel.

It would have to be a VBA routine.

If I do come across an answer I will email you back.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Use the Ctrl-key for quick navigation in Excel 2010

If you want to move quickly to the right, left, top or bottom of your spreadsheet, just press Ctrl and one of the arrow keys. If you want to then select all the data in that particular row or column, hold down the Shift key and press Ctrl and an arrow key.
