RE: Excel

Hi Lee

Thank you for your question regarding the conversion of a decimal to hour/mins.

The quickest & simplest way to achieve this is to multiply 24 (being the number of hours in 1 day) by 0.3 (the time you've worked on a project)

So, 24 x 0.3 = 7.2hrs

Creating this as a formula would enable you to change the number of hours you've worked, having the hours being reflected automatically, i.e. 24 in cell A1, 0.3 in cell B1, formula in cell C1 =A1*B1

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post.

Display Formulas Instead of Results in Excel 2010

By pressing Ctrl ~ once, Excel will display formulas rather than the results of the formulas. Press it again, and the results will appear again.

A much quicker and simpler way of displaying your formulas!
