how do I change cells to $ currency

RE: cells

Simon sorry for the delay. Highlight the cells in question right click and select format cells from the menu and select the number tab. On the left hand side of the number tab select Currency. When you select currency Excel will display in the sample box opposite what your selection will look like.

Below the sample box you have the decimal places spin button which allows you increase or decrease the decimal places.

The symbol drop-down list box. You need to click the arrow to the right of the box which will allow you to apply different currency formats to the cells you have selected.

Thanks

Hope that helps
