Hi Dan,

Thanks for the question, to add up numbers in word you find the commands under the "Table" menu and in "Formula".

The easiest way to show this is in a table, so if you insert a table and plug your data in, leave the last row empty and put your cursor in the last row.

Then go to the Table menu and down to Formula, If the cell you selected is at the bottom of a column of numbers, Word suggests the formula =SUM(ABOVE). Click OK if this is correct. If the cell you selected is at the right end of a row of numbers, Word suggests the formula =SUM(LEFT). Click OK if this is correct.
