Hi,
How do I password protect so that my spreadsheet will ask for the password to be able to edit or give them the option to read only?

Hi Rosanne,

Thank you for your question.

There are two possible ways of achieiving this.

Firstly go to Tools, Protection and Protect sheet and assign a password.

Secondly, go to File, Save As and then look for the Tools menu. Select General options and then Password.

You can choose to create a password to open and/or modify or choose for Read Only recommended.
