Hi,
I have 2 tables:

tbl_patient
tbl_contact

The first table has a form: frm_patient and subform sfrm_contact (tbl_contact) linked by a field in both tables (master and child) called "LTBR"

one patient can have many contacts and eventually a contact can become a patient.

I would like to have a button in my contact subform that would generate a new record in tbl_patient/frm_patient , where the fields "firstname" and "surname" of tbl_patient would be already populated by the equivalent fields "cfirstname" and "csurname" from the tbl_contact.
I know it sounds confusing.. Am I making sense to you?

I would really appreciate your help!
many thanks

Lucia

RE: Access

Hi Lucia

Thanks for your post and after consulting one of our Access trainers we can suggest 2 routes.

1) The skill set required to achieve your objectives can be gained by attending our Access VBA 2 day course, please click here.

2) Or we can create a solution for you, send us your working files and list of objectives. We will then produce a scope of work with durations and associated costs.

If you would like to discuss any of this further please email jacob

Kind regards

Jacob
