RE: how do i page break

Hello Steve,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Excel 2007 course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding Page Breaks.

In the normal view you can insert page breaks simply by clicking on the cell below and to the right of the position where you want your page to end. Then open the 'Page Layout' ribbon and in the 'Page Setup' section click on 'Breaks' then click 'Insert Page Break'. This action will place vertical and horizontal dotted lines on your page indicating where the page breaks are positioned.

If you then change the view to 'Page Break Preview' from the 'View' ribbon you will observe these breaks as blue horizontal and vertical lines. These can be moved using the mouse to drag them up or down / left or right.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Rodney

Excel tip:

Status Bar Functions

When using the SUM, MIN, MAX, AVERAGE and COUNT functions, the result of such calculations are displayed in the worksheet.

However, if a range of cells, containing numbers, is highlighted, and then a right-mouse click is performed at the bottom right side of the status bar, then the result of those functions will be displayed.
