Font sizes changing

Hello Anthony

I have been formatting a large document and our house style is 11 pitch for paragraphs. However, after each level 1 or 2 heading the font changes to 12 pitch and I have to go through the document paragraph by paragraph to change back to 11 pitch. Is there a quicker way of doing this. i.e. not having to go through each paragraph individually and do you think that maybe there is something wrong with the template which automatically changes the font size from 11 to 12?

RE: Font sizes changing

Hello Maria,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Word Intermediate course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding changing Font sizes.

I'm not sure what your default settings are so the first thing I would suggest is click the Format menu, click Font, change the size if necessary from 12 to 11, then click the Default button at the bottom left of the dialogue box. Click OK.

This will set your default to 11 points which should always follow any Heading1 styles that have been applied. Try this out... it should solve your problem.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Rodney

Word tip:

Refreshing your Autotext Entries

If you have created your own autotext entries then you can usually type out afew letters/numbers and press F3. This searches through autotext and completes it, rather than waiting for the yellow box to appear.
