How can I work out how many weekdays from now to a given date in the future?

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Working days

Hi Ania,

Thank you for your question.

To calculate the number of weekdays between two dates you need to use the NETWORKDAYS function (don't think of it as Network Days but rather as Net Workdays.)

Start date is in cell A2
End date is in cell B2
Number of Workdays formula in cell C3

=NETWORKDAYS(A2,B2)

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post.

RE: Working days

Hi Ania

This should also work in Excel 2003...

So an example would be....

In cell A2, the start date 16/12/10
In cell B2 the end date 25/12/10
In cell C2 the formula =NETWORKDAYS(A2,B2)

After pressing Enter you should get the number of working days between your start date & end date.

If you're still experiencing any issues with this function, do let me know.
