Viewing old documents

I'm trying to view documents on project that were created before I joined the company, but the system asks for my username and password. So when I enter the Windows login details it does not accept it. Please help.

RE: Viewing old documents

Hi Kurinchi,

Thank you for your question.

It sounds like there maybe some Windows security been setup to allow access to certain files for certain people.

Do you have an IT department that has setup security for certain files. If so check what your login allows you to access.

Alternatively, are you running project Server at work?

Regards

Simon

RE: Viewing old documents

Thank you very much for your response Simon.

We are currently using Project Server 2003 and I have all access to the projects, I can open them in MS project 2003, but just cannot view the documents.

Thanks

RE: Viewing old documents

Hi Kurinchi,

Thank you for your response.

It sounds like you need to speak to your system administrator who set up the Project Server 2003.

Beyond that I can refer you to our Consultancy team if it remains an issue that cannot be resolved.

Regards

Simon
