Different first pages

If you have a different first page, will the text following go into the preformated second page or will it go onto another page following the format of the first

RE: different first pages

Hello Eva,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Word Intermediate course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding text formats in different pages. It will depend on whether you are using section breaks in the first page or not. If you do, then you can format the entire first page within the section breaks to be different to the rest of the document.

If you are referring to Headers & Footers and you have selected the option 'Different First Page' in the 'Page Setup' 'Layout' tab, then you can set the formatting style for your first page headers/footers which will not be carried down to other page headers and footers.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Rodney
