Kelly has attended:
Powerpoint Intermediate Advanced course

Powerpoint - text on a slide.

Page Layout - 2 content.
Is there a way of making the text from the first box stop and continue typing automatically at the top of the 2nd box without having to manually move the text?

RE: Powerpoint - text on a slide.

Hi Kelly

Thank you for your question.

The closest thing possible to ensure the text flow wraps into the second text box is to create columns as opposed to text boxes.

- Create a new slide with Title & Content
- Place your cursor in the Content text box
- Ont he Home tab - Paragraph group, click the Columns tool
- Select number of columns, i.e. two

There are no clearly defined borders, however the text flow will now automaticlly wrap to the second column as it reaches the end of the first column.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post.

Regards,

Powerpoint tip:

Removing unused toolbar buttons in PowerPoint

Are there buttons on your PowerPoint toolbars that you never use? Remove them from the toolbar by doing the following:

1. Go to Tools - Customise - Commands.
2. Select the toolbar button you wish to remove, then use your mouse to drag and drop the button into the PowerPoint window. When you release your finger from the mouse, the button will disappear.
