Converter

I have version 2002 and need to be able to at least view & preferably work with files from colleagues with version 2007, but the website I was taken to to download a converter said there wasn't one for 2002 - 2007.
Is it possible for me to open / work with these files & if so, how.

Hi Lesley

Thank you for your question. I've checked the Microsoft site and it looks like there is no converter for Project 2002 to enable it to open Project 2007 files.

The only answer I can see is for the Project 2007 user to save down to project 2000-2003 format. This will enable Project 2002 to to open and edit the file.

In Project 2007 some enhanced features will be lost but the file can still be edited and maintained.

I hope this helps. Project 2003 has a converter that lets it work with 07 files without the need for them to be saved down.
