Arrows

I have removed arrows on my spreadsheet. However, whenever I enter new info in any other cell and hit enter, the arrows are showing again? Can anyone tell me how to remove them permanently. I have tried option Remove arrows many times.

RE: Arrows

Hello Anna,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Excel Advanced course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding removing arrows from your spreadsheet.

I am not sure what arrows you are referring to, so to help me answer your question please create a small file with these arrows in and send it to my email rl as an attachment. I will then let you have an answer.

I look forward to your reply.

Have a great day.
Regards,

Rodney

Excel tip:

Turn off AutoComplete in Excel

You may have noticed when typing into your spreadsheets that if you start to enter labels that begin with the same letters as a label that has been previously entered in the same spreadsheet, Excel will try and automatically complete the text for you. This feature is called AutoComplete.

If you find this feature more annoying than useful, you can turn it off by:

1. Going to Tools - Options.

2. Select the Edit tab.

3. Remove the tick from next to the "Enable AutoComplete for cell values" option.

4. Click OK.
