I've done the Access Advanced course. What advantages are there to learning VBA?

RE: VBA

Hi Graeme, thanks for your query. VBA is an incredibly powerful tool to control Access and create bespoke functionality. It is a full blown programming language which lets you manipulate the entire application and create cross-application functionality as well. The main advantages of learning it are specificity in the tools that you create and the speed of delivery of complicated results.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Access tip:

Convert A Form Into A Report

If there is a form that you want to to save as a report:

1. Open that form in Design View
2. Select File and Save As
3. In the Save As Dialog box Select Report

The system creates a report based on the form.
