Dreamweaver Versions

Hi, I just completed the Dreamweaver 8 Intermediate 1 day course this week, which I found very useful. However, I have just inserted the cd that I was given at the end of the course into my computer, to find that most of the content is for Dreamweaver mx, an earlier version. Please can you tell me if I have been given the wrong cd?

Hi Kean,

You may have been given the wrong CD. A lot of the reference materials on both CDs apply to both versions of Dreamweaver.

Dreamweaver tip:

JumpMenu in new window

When inserting a jumpmenu to a page, the only option available for 'open in' is usually 'main window'. There would be other options available if the page was a frameset.

To change the jumpmenu to open in a new window, change the target parameter of the selectbox in your code to 'window.open()'.

eg.
<select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('window.open()',this,0)">

Hi

I have a question: I have a combo box in a form. If I select a name on this form combo box, I want it to select the same name from an existing combo box anlready in my spreadsheet. Is this possible and how would I go about writing the code for this..
