IF function and Conditional Formatting
Is it possible to conditional format a group of cells (or a single cell for that matter) to strike through the contents based upon the contents of another cell.
For example, I am trying to compile an equipment list. On occasions, some of those items will be disposed of and I am trying to format a cell to retain visibility of the record by putting a line through the item/record that has been disposed of.

Thanks for the question,
You can use a conditional format with the strike through option. How you do that is, you can use the Format menu > Conditional Formatting. Change from "Cell value is" to "Formula equal to" now you put your formula in, for example =A3>2000 then you can you the formatting button and apply your strikethrough fomatting. So if A3 is bigger than 2000 it will apply the condition to that cell
