Forms form formview droplist ding combo-box combobox combo box

I have created a form that takes information from 4 different tables (No sub-forms). I have a problem with the combo-boxes in that in form-view, I am able to click to see the drop list, however when I click on the choices, there is a "DING" sound and I am not able to click into it. Does anyone know the solution to this? I've been at it for 2 days now!

RE: forms form formview droplist ding combo-box combobox combo b

Hi Gaki,

Thank you for your question.

The first thing to check is the Relationships window and ensure the relationships have been setup correctly.

The second thing is to check the data types of the fields in question and check where the data is coming from to load the combo boxes. Ensure the data types are correctly setup.

The sound you are hearing can mean that there is something missing.

If you wanted to, you could send me the database, with an explanation of which form and which field causes the 'Ding sound'. I can then have a quick look to see if I can identify the problem. If it requires a long time to identify the problem and understand the setup of the database, we offer a consultancy service.

I hope this helps.

Regards

Simon
