Formatting for resources

Hi,
Could you please help me to change the font colour for each resource. I have lots of different resources and allocating each resource a colour would make it a lot easier to read.

P.S. Could you please also send me a certificate for attending last weeks 2 day course.
thanks,
Sophie

RE: Formatting for resources

Hi Sophie

I also attened your Project course on 24th, the trainer sitting at the back.

You can change the colour of bar text on a Gantt chart for all the resources with Format, Text Styles but not for individual resources. Instead you could change the colours of bars according to the recourse name.

First filter to show taks for a particular resource
Then highlight the rows, Format, Bar...
Change the colour (middle) from blue to a different colour.

Then remove the filter and repeat for other resources.

Hope that helps. Only works for tasks assingned to one resource so not that useful. If I find a way of colouring Resourse names with a macro I'll let you know.

Cheers
Doug
