if you have a set figure that you dont want changed by other users, how do you protect the cell so that only you can change it

Hello Kerry,
Thank you for your question regarding protection.
You can lock all cells by choosing the Protect Sheet option in the review ribbon. Should you wish to only lock certain cells on the sheet, prior to turning on Protect Sheet you must unlock the ones you do not want protected.
Select the cells to unlock, right click, select the protection tab in the format cells dialog box, ok.
Turn on Protect Sheet.
