Heading Locking

Having created a table for listing PAT tests, how do I lock line1 with the headings on so that the other lines pass up under it

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Heading Locking

Hi Peter, thanks for your query. Position the active cell at A2. Then from the ribbon choose the View tab, the Freeze Panes drop down and the Freeze Top Row option. That should lock row 1.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Excel tip:

Wrapping Text in a Cell in an Excel 2010 Workbook

When you have a lot of text you want to put in a particular cell but you can't decrease the font size to fit because the text will then become ineligible, then manually wrap the text in a cell by simply pressing ALT+ENTER.
