Headers and footers
Vicki has attended:
I have created a 3 page document for which I have set the "different first page" in the header. I then have started to number the pages (it is made up of lots of different documents so it has to be hard numbered I cannot make use of the inbuilt numbering facility). However, I can number the first page correctly, I can also number the second page but the third page (and any subsequent pages) all pick up the same as the second page. If I then change the third page the second page picks up this number. They are evidently linked but not by the button in the toolbar as this is 'greyed'. If I try to use the 'from this point forward' it messes up the header rule.

Vicki RE: Headers and footers
I have undertaken word courses however, it did not seem to follow the usual rule. Going on another course does not answer my immediate problem - which was solved by a friend!
