Hello! I'm looking to create a spreadsheet where I can add project management tasks, who is responsible for those tasks and status in the left columns. For each task, I'd like to have a start date and an end date. Once both dates are entered, I'd like excel to 'spit' them out into a Gantt Chart. This would enable me to quickly update my project management doc as well as my gantt chart, without having to spend time in a Word doc and then transferring the info to an excel doc.

Thank you for your question.
Do you mean export your excel data to ms Project?
If so, you can use the Import Data Wizard within ms Project. In Project you do File, Open and change the Files of Type to Excel.
This will then start the Import Wizard.
