Hi,

I have a documents at work, other colleague has put 2 layers of passwords to proect the workbook when you opens up the excel workbook. How do I change the second password on version 2010? or even remove the second password?

Hi Nam

If you know the passwords then you can change or remove them as follows -

1. Open the file entering the passwords
2. Select File, Save As.
3. Click Tools, General Option at botton left.
4. Change the second level 'Password to modify' or remove the black circles.
5. Click Save.

Hope that helps. More difficult if you don't know the passwords.

When data is held in a block, however large, use the Ctrl key with your cursors to move quickly to the far edge of the block. Works with all 4 direction keys.
