Word - background printing

HI

I have created a document in Word 2010 and used a photograph as the background for the document. When I then look at the document in print preview the picture is much bigger so only shows part of the picture as the background. When I then go on to print, I get lots of small background images all over the page. Please can you help me to print the document exactly how it looks in normal view.

RE: Word - background printing

Hi Andrew

As an alternative to using the page background feature you may find it more effective to add the image as a watermark. Take a look at the Page Layout ribbon then choose Watermark and select Custom Watermark, choose your picture and decide if you want it washed out or not. Only thing to consider is the size of your image. You may want to edit your picture to A4 size or choose one of the larger scaling options to make sure it covers the whole of the background.

Let me know how this works out.

Kind regards,
Andrew
