RE: Macro

Hi Katie,

Thanks for the question,

To save your Macro to the menu bar use view>toolbars>customise and in commands find your macro you have created and drag it either on to your menu or on to your toolbar.

Hope that helps

Tracy

RE: Macro

katie

goto view, toolbars, select customise, goto commands tab, on the left find the macros command, when you have selected this section it should show you the macro on the right, drag the macro to the toolbar, it will add a button with the macro attached, right click on the button and edit as you wish for colour or definition.

hope this answers your question

regards

RE: Macro

Hi Katie

Thanks for your question.

You can add a Macro menu bar item by going to Tools - Customise - Commands, then select New Menu from the Categories list on the left. Use your mouse to select and drag the New Menu item from the Commands box on the right to the menu bar at the top of the screen.

If you right-click on the New Menu item now showing on the menu bar, you can rename it from New Menu to something else.

Then still using the same dialogue box, select Macros from the Categories list on the left. Any macros you have recorded should appear in the Commands box on the right. Select and drag and drop the macro to be added to the menu bar so that it is positioned under the menu you have just created. The macro item will need to be dropped in an exact position to attach itself to the menu you have created.

While the Tools - Customise dialogue box is open, you can drag items off the menu bar or toolbars into the PowerPoint window to remove them, so if you make any mistakes you can fix this!

I hope this helps - let me know if you require further clarification on any of the above.

Amanda
